We had such a wonderful weekend! Christi, Jermey, and Camden got here Friday night around seven. We grilled out it was yummy. There were several people that came by to hang out including the Stanley's so Camden and John got to play. I think they had a big time.
Camden had said the whole Lord's Prayer to Christi the night before when she was putting him to sleep and they were saying their prayers. He calls it "Our Father". We had him say it several times thoughout the weekend, and he does an awsome job. He never misses a beat. It is amazing that a three year old can say something that long with unfamiliar words by heart. But, he did and he was great at it.
Saturday was the most fun though. Saturday morning my mom and I took Camden to Harlow's for donuts. While we were there we saw Bo's uncle and cousin John and Bailey Butler. Bailey is 10 or 11 and he had killed a turkey. They were next door at Handyman showing the turkey to Bailey's dad Johnny. Camden was amazed with the dead turkey. He was most impressed that it had blood on it's mouth. There was blood on the ground, so I had told Camden "not to step in the blood". So all day long he would tell people about the turkey and say "I am going to kill me a turkey, but you don't want to step in the blood".
Then for lunch we took Camden to Borrum's and he tried his first slugburger ever. While we were downtown we ran to Kate's and Company for a few minutes. Camden had a good time with the display stamps. Then we went and bought crickets, and headed to Wildwood. By the time we got to Wildwood he was exhausted and snoozed the first hour or so that we were there. But, then he woke up and was ready to "catch sharks". We caught a few fish, but he wasn't into the whole having to "wait" on a bite to reel it in. He did help us reel some of our fish in, and he held a few of them as well. William (Bo's dad) went snake hunting on Saturday and got back before we left. He brought two cottonmouth's back for Camden to see. Camden has no fear. I was holding him and he wanted to hold the dead snakes, I made him get down to hold the snake. I could just see him getting scared and throwing the snake and it landing on me and then having to revive me from the heartattack I would have had. By the time we got home and Camden got a bath and some supper he was out like a light. He had a very busy day. Christi, Jeremy, Bo and I played Catch Phrase (which is my new fav game) all night. It is so fun. If you have not played it I highly recommend it.
I spent Sunday recovering. We had so much fun, but I am defiantly not ready for a three year old I was WORN out! HAHA

aww.. He is so cute! I miss slugburgers! I am really impressed that he actually ate one. My kids wouldn't touch it if I said it was slugburgers.
