Tax Season

My best friend is an accountant, and this is the begining of tax season. I am a sad soul. She lives four hours away and will be working every Saturday. She came in this weekend for one last FUN weekend! We spent the night at her cabin and made a fun trip to Freddy T's with big group of friends. Can't wait for April 15th!

Congrats Breter and Kyle!!

So for New Year's Eve we went to Starkville. The reason was not only to celebrate NYE with my friends, but to celebrate the engagement of one of my friends KRISTEN BRETER. She is marrying an amazing guy, KYLE SKINNER! I love them both! They are perfect for each other. Kyle surprised Kristen by having all of us come down for NYE. She didn't know why we were all coming. On that afternoon they were going to "take family pictures" at the Chapel of Memories on campus, and Kyle proposed. So Sweet! She then thought she was coming to dinner at Old Venice to surprise us with the news of there engagement, but she was surprised that we already knew and had ballons and banners waiting on her. We had a great time that night. I am so excited for them!

Merry Christmas!

Well the last few weeks have been busy busy! We had a great Christmas! On December 23 I went and ate with the girls I graduated high school with. We get together every year. There are 8 of us, but this year the number was cut in 1/2. We have found as more and more of us get married and work it is harder for us to get together. We had a lot of fun though. We went to have lunch at Pizza Grocery.

Christmas Eve we had both our families over to our house for dinner after Christmas Eve communion. We grilled duck and had finger foods. It was a lot of fun and yummy. Christmas morning Bo and I got up and did our presents at our house. Then in our PJ's we went to my parents to open presents with them. For Christmas lunch we went to Bo's parents. My parents joined us as well as the Wilders. It was nice to have all our families in one spot for both Christmas Eve and Day. We are very blessed to be in the same town with both families and not have to spend holidays on the road. The day after Christmas we celebrated Butler Christmas out at MKB's house. It is always a lot of fun and entertaining. I think there were 25 people there this year plus 2 babies. SO FUN!

On the 27th my two best friends from College (also my college roomies) came to stay with us. Morgan and David came on there way back home from Christmas in Huntsville with David's family. Christi came from West Point. There was the annual Corinth Christmas party that night. So we enjoyed dinner at Pizza Grocery before the party. It was a lot of fun! I love it when they come visit. I miss them so much!
