I haven't blogged in a while. We have been busy. We have many friends getting married over the next few months, and the wedding festivites have been ample. The last weekend in Feb. we had an 'Around the house' shower for Ginger and Baxter on Friday night, then on Saturday night was their Engagment party at Wildwood. The following weekend we went down to Jackson for Wesley and Laurie's 'Stock the Bar' party. Both weekends were a lot of fun, and two of the wedding fesivities highlites.

This past weekend we had an 'off' weekend so we laid low. Friday night we went to see Kalin and Jacy's progress on their new house, and hung out for a little while. Saturday night we went to dinner at Pizza Grocery with Mary E and Garett. We had a LOT of fun with them. We haven't gotten to hang out with them in a while. Saturday during the day, however was not as much fun. With our wonderful house that we love, came this HUGE yard that we have absolutely no idea what to do with. Mrs. Barlett that lived her before us was a master gardner, so there is lots there it just needs to be managed. It has grown up a lot and needs some attention. The good thing is no gass which = NO MOWING which Bo was thrilled about. But, now we have about decided mowing would be much easier than this. So Saturday we decided to give it a go. We decided we would start by mulching. Well we got four 'scoops' (to those who are like me and have no idea how much a scoop is, I can tell you IT'S A LOT!!!) of mulch. And we didn't get done. We are going to need at least another 'scoop' maybe more. However, we did get a lot down. I took a few pictures today. Some of the plants/flowers are starting to bloom. Some of our buttercups are really lookng good, although some of them bloomed a little prematurly and we lost them to cold snap a few weeks back. We noticed yesterday our dogwood trees are begining to bloom. I love dogwoods!! We have several azalea bushes and I can not WAIT for those to bloom!! If anyone has a greenthumb and wants to share any helpful hints with us, PLEASE FEEL FREE!
