Us on the beach
There were 6 different restaurants on the resort. The two nicest were Feathers and Lemongrass. Feathers was gourmet. They had a dress code and you had to have reservations. We ate there on Monday night.

Lemongrass was a Thai restaurant. Much to my suprise I really liked it. It was also kind of dressy and required reservations. We got to sit outside on the deck. I really liked it.

The other two dinner restaraunts were more casual. One was called Patios' Patio and the other was The Palms. They were both open for lunch and breakfast too. We ate at Patios a lot. It was literally right out our back door. They had Pizzas, steaks, fish, salads, and chicken. They changed the menus daily. Patios is also the other language besides English that they speak in Jamaica. It is a mixture of broken English, Spanish, French, and African tribal. That is mostly what the Jamaican's used when speaking to each other.

The Palms was good too. At breakfast and lunch they had a buffet. My favorite breakfast item was they would make your omelette's for you right in front of you. At dinner they had a full menu plus a pasta bar. I thought I had struck gold when I found this. They had spaghetti and it was so good. They cooked it there in front of you too.

The also had two grills on the beach. One was a vegetarian grill so we didn't ever eat there. The other one had like hamburgers and stuff. We had lunch one day there.

Margaritaville was just about 100 yards down the beach from our resort. We walked down there one afternoon. If was fun, but we got caught down there in a monsoon and had to stay longer than anticipated.

We were sad to leave, but anxious to get home and start a routine together. We had a blast and can not wait to go back!
